The Colorado School of Professional Psychology (COSPP) was established on June 18, 1998. In 2007, it was purchased by Bridgepoint Education and become the University of the Rockies. The University of the Rockies is now officially closed. During the first 9-years, COSPP created a special community that remains meaningful to many, despite the school ultimately being unable to sustain itself independently. COSPP also maintained a close connection with humanistic and existential psychology during most of its existence. The COSPP archives was created because of its connection with humanistic and existential psychology, and because many of the founders and board members of RMHCPA are former faculty or alumni of COSPP.
More information will be available about the COSPP archives in the near future.
NOTE: The Rocky Mountain Humanistic Counseling and Psychological Association received permission from Zovio (formerly Bridgepoint Education) to create the Colorado School of Professional Psychology Archives; however, neither RMHCPA or the COSPP archives have any official or legal connection with Bridgepoint Education, Zovio, or University of Arizona Global Campus (of which Zovio became affiliated with). We are not able to assist with providing student records or people seeking official information about the remnants of COSPP or the University of the Rockies.
